Jeremy Vause is a vocal coach, singer, actor, and music director from Georgetown, SC. He has been coaching singers for over a decade and has been coaching actors and public speakers since 2019. As a vocal coach he has taught as a private instructor both online and in-person, at award winning performing arts academies, and in public education. Jeremy's extensive education and training includes obtaining an M.F.A. in Performing Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design where he completed a teaching internship as a teaching assistant in voice and speech classes for actors. He also holds a B.A. in Music with a concentration in vocal performance from Coastal Carolina University. He has recently completed training in NYC to become a certified teacher of the Miller Voice Method (mVm). mVm teaches actors, public speakers, and singers how to use their voices in healthy and sustainable ways that will increase audience attention and create more dynamic and memorable performances and presentations. Jeremy is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and the Voice and Speech Trainers Association (VASTA).
As a performer Jeremy has worked in a variety of media with experiences in TV/Film, theatre, voice-over, commercials, and print work. He has also performed for many years as a church music director and singer. He desires to use the knowledge gained from all of his experience as a vocal coach and a performer to help his students achieve their vocal goals. Jeremy finds joy in helping others discover and release their true authentic voices while increasing their self-confidence through establishing a healthy and repeatable vocal technique in a welcoming and encouraging environment.
